Plant of the week

Plant of the weekDiascia personata

This beautiful tall dusky pink Diascia can be spotted popping its head up mainly in the flower garden but if you keep your whits about you, you might see it creeping into the Flower meadows or even the kitchen garden. Diascia personata ‘Hopleys’ or if you prefer the common name, twinspur , flowers from May to November.

Diascia personata

Influenced by its surroundings and nutrients it takes on different forms; in the flower garden it puts on a handsome show, in the meadow it grows less tall and can be seen cuddled up by the meadow grasses.
