Guttation

20160824_110433

Working in the flower garden in the early morning is a delight and spotting guttation on the Alchemilla mollis has been a real treat for me today. Guttation are the tiny beads of water appearing on the leaf of a plant. This happens at night when the temperature drops and less liquid can evaporate from the stomata. Has anyone else seen this on their plants? we would love to see a picture.

Fay.
