It’s time to force that rhubarb!

Our rhubarb is on a four year rotation system and some we do like to grow as ‘forced’. The team have been eager for them to come along that little bit quicker, to do this we lift the bed which is in its final year and pop them in the peach house, in a small trench and cover them with a blackout cloche. If the weather is good they should be ready in a months time for Head Chef George and his team in the kitchen.
