Rosa Moyesii var. Geranium
This is a wonderful species of rose, originally found in Tibet by Ernest Wilson in the early 1900’s. When Robinson first got hold of it he could barely contain his excitement so it is only right that we continue to grow it in the Flower Garden. In the wild, its pretty single flowers are pink but this form has beautiful orangey pink blooms. Best of all however are the voluptuous pear shaped fruits which colour up bright red and hold on the bush deep into the winter.
