Brussels Sprouts

With the kitchens closed for a couple of months for renovation work, we are lucky this year to be able to clear the Kitchen Garden of the Winter crops earlier than usual in order to prepare for the new season ahead.  In addition to this early start on clearing and preparing, we also have a number of chefs who are able to help us out whilst the kitchens are closed.  This week we have removed the remaining Brussels sprouts with the help of two willing chefs.  The sprouts they harvested will go to good homes amongst the staff of the hotel and the bed is now ready to be prepared for our salad crops and potatoes.
